Fall is here, and with hunting season kicking off across the country, I know many of you are gearing up for field time, fresh content and new collaborations. It’s an exciting time in our industry, and we’re feeling that same energy inside POMA.
As part of our commitment to transparency and consistent communication, I’m sharing another monthly President’s Update to keep you informed of what’s happening behind the scenes, post October board meeting.
Membership Growth
We’re proud to share that memberships are up 20% compared to this time last year, a clear sign that POMA’s mission and value continue to resonate. During the board meeting, our bookkeeper reported that our operating expenses are down by $8,000 year-over-year, thanks to smarter planning and cost-saving measures.
2026 Annual Meeting Announcement Coming Soon
The Annual Meeting Committee has confirmed our 2026 venue, with final hotel details pending. We’ll be announcing the full location soon, so stay tuned! Special thanks to Justin Morrissey for providing a range site update and locking in that location.
Committee Updates
All committees are active and continuing to meet monthly. Here’s a quick look:
POMA Perks
This week we launched POMA Perks, and have two new member perks to tell you about soon. Email Mike Clingan, POMA Membership Committee Chair, at montanaoutdoorimagery@gmail.com if you’re a corporate partner who would like to participate in providing media members exclusive benefits like product discounts, special offers or other member-only incentives.
The next few weeks should be jam packed with exciting announcements.
Let’s Keep the Momentum Going
This is a busy and exciting time for many of us in the outdoor space, and for POMA, too. Whether you’re hitting the woods, working on year-end goals or prepping for 2026, I hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on the strength of this community and all we’ve accomplished this year.
Thanks for being part of POMA’s continued growth!
Sincerely,
Britney Booth
