POMA Minnesota Cast & Blast Expedition Itinerary
This collaborative Expedition, hosted by POMA, Lake of the Woods and River Bend Resort, brings together media professionals and corporate partners to experience the exceptional outdoor opportunities of northern Minnesota. The event will feature upland bird hunting and world-class fishing, showcasing the region's abundant grouse habitat, breathtaking scenery and incredible fishery. Join us for an unforgettable blend of adventure, networking and relaxation.

Itinerary:
September 29
3 - 5 p.m. Arrival: Get settled into your accommodations at River Bend Resort.
5 - 6 p.m. Social Hour: Kick off the event with casual mingling, drinks, and introductions to fellow attendees, sponsors and guides.
6 p.m. Dinner: Enjoy a hearty group meal at the lodge to fuel up and build excitement for the next couple of days.
September 30
6:30 – 7:30 a.m. Breakfast at the lodge: Start your day with a delicious, energizing breakfast to prepare for the outdoors. Don’t forget to grab your sack lunch!
7:45 a.m. Depart for grouse hunting: Head out for a guided day afield, focusing on upland bird hunting in northern Minnesota's prime habitats.
12 p.m. Field lunch: Enjoy a tailgate picnic and the opportunity to hear from your guides about habitat projects in the area.
4 p.m. Head back to resort: Arrive back and unwind after a rewarding day in the field.
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Stories and cocktails: Share tales from the day over refreshing drinks in a relaxed social setting.
6:30 PM: Dinner and Presentation. Savor a group dinner followed by an engaging show or sponsor presentation highlighting the destination's outdoor offerings.
October 1
6:30 – 7:30 a.m. Breakfast at the lodge: Start your day with a delicious, energizing breakfast to prepare for the outdoors. Don’t forget to grab your sack lunch!
7:45 a.m. Depart for grouse hunting: Head out for a guided half day afield, focusing on upland bird hunting in northern Minnesota's prime habitats.
12 p.m. Head back to resort: Prepare for an afternoon of fishing!
1 – 4 p.m. Sturgeon/walleye fishing: Cast your lines on the Lake of the Woods and Rainy River.
4 – 5 p.m. Return to resort: Arrive back to River Bend Resort and unwind after a rewarding day in the field and on the water.
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Stories and cocktails: Share tales from the day over refreshing drinks in a relaxed social setting.
