Merry Christmas and happy holidays to our POMA family
As we closed out our December board meeting, I wanted to share a brief update on the work your board and committees are doing behind the scenes to strengthen our organization and prepare for an exciting year ahead.
We reviewed the results of our November GunBroker.com auction, which raised just shy of $2,000 in support of POMA’s mission. Thank you to everyone who donated, bid, shared or helped spread the word. Every effort makes a difference, and this fundraiser helps us finish the year on a strong note.
Our planning for the 2026 Summit is well underway, with venue and hotel details in the final stages of confirmation. Sponsorship conversations have already started, and we’re encouraged by the momentum. This event continues to be a cornerstone of connection for our media and corporate members, and we’re working to deliver an experience that reflects POMA’s growth and energy.
Membership continues to grow, with 45 new members joining recently, and we’re seeing strong engagement across programs. Between SHOT Show planning, partner updates and year-end, the staff and committees are keeping pace with a full slate of important work.
As we head into the holiday season, I want to thank each of you for your support, involvement and belief in POMA’s mission. Whether you're a longtime member or brand new to our community, you’re a vital part of what makes this organization meaningful.
I hope you and your families enjoy a warm, restful, joy-filled Christmas and a bright start to the new year. I’m grateful for all of you, and I can’t wait to share what’s ahead for POMA in 2026!
Warm holiday wishes,
