2026 Pinnacle Awards Now Open

POMA’s Pinnacle Awards are the highest honor in outdoor communication - recognizing excellence in outdoor journalism, photography, broadcasting, magazine production and content creation across traditional and emerging media platforms.

This is the chance for content you have already generated and been paid for, within the past year, to be recognized. Content between November 1, 2024, and October 31, 2025, is eligible for entry. Entries can be submitted electronically HERE.

Eight categories are available, and you can enter up to two pieces per category.

1. Newspaper/Internet Article
2. Magazine Article
3. Magazine Complete (Digital)
4. Magazine Complete (Print)
5. Book (including eBooks)
6. Broadcasting (audio and/or video)
7. Art/Photography (painting, illustration, photography and graphics)
8. Wildlife Conservation and Management (work in any medium is acceptable, but wildlife conservation and management must be the primary subject)

Pinnacle Awards rules can be found HERE. Nominations close on February 28, 2026. POMA members in good standing may enter. If an individual media member who is employed by a current Corporate Partner enters, the individual is recognized, not the company.

Awards will be presented at POMA's Summit, May 26-28 at Wild Wings of Oneka in Hugo, Minnesota.
