Ryan Fair

Ryan is a freelance outdoor writer from Ohio whose work has appeared in Outdoor Specialty Media, NWTF, Mossy Oak, Game & Fish, and other outdoor publications. Over the last five years, he has written about hunting, fishing, habitat work, gear, and the outdoor lifestyle with a focus on honest, firsthand experience. He is also the owner of Pine Hollow Media, where he continues to grow his work in outdoor writing, photography, and content creation. As a candidate for the POMA Board of Directors, Ryan hopes to bring a fresh perspective from the freelance side of the industry and help create more opportunities, stronger connections, and practical resources for writers and media members who are working to grow their careers. He also believes strongly in protecting authentic outdoor storytelling in a world where AI is becoming more common. Ryan lives in Ohio with his wife and two daughters, who he is raising to respect, enjoy, and appreciate the outdoors.
