Whitetails Unlimited Grants More Than $180,000 in Mississippi

Whitetails Unlimited has granted $184,916 to various mission-related projects in the state of Mississippi over the past fiscal year. Many different organizations received grants pertaining to outdoor education, habitat enhancement, and hunting and shooting sports preservation. This was done in large part with the assistance of 19 Whitetails Unlimited Mississippi chapters.

Thousands of veterans and youth participate in hunting in Mississippi every year. Through its Preserving the Hunting Tradition Program, Whitetails Unlimited provides grants to help increase access and opportunity for these veterans and youth. In addition, proper land and herd management helps maintain wildlife populations at levels compatible with their habitat, provides wholesome recreational opportunities, and permits the use of a valuable renewable resource.
