Whitetails Unlimited issued grants totaling $637,480 fostering their DEER (Developing Educational and Environmental Resources) Program this past fiscal year. The DEER Program consists of organizational initiatives and activities that facilitate the education of youth and their families to the great outdoors. This includes events, activities, and educational elements that expose participants to conservation, fishing, hunting, shooting, wildlife management, and environmental education.
Education is a top priority for Whitetails Unlimited. As a strong advocate and supporter of hunter safety and hands-on instruction, WTU is at the forefront of providing state hunter education instructor associations with the necessary teaching aids to train our nation’s youth. The program also includes contributions to organizations such as 4-H and FFA.
