Whitetails Unlimited Celebrates Wild Game Meat Donation Month

Posted on: Nov 05, 2025

Whitetails Unlimited joins the National Rifle Association of America to celebrate Wild Game Meat Donation Month this November to encourage all hunters to donate extra venison or other game meat to help provide meals for those in need. Giving and sharing are always in season, and Whitetails Unlimited encourages you to do your part by donating to organizations that distribute to the less fortunate in your area.

There are many organizations, such as Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry, that raise funds to offset the processing costs associated with donated game. These organizations also work with food pantries in their respective areas to see that they are stocked with donated game. Many state fish and game agencies also have their own programs to distribute donated game.

The NRA has even gone as far as creating a resource on their website with all available information for venison donations such as contact information and drop off locations. Please click the link to find a drop off location near you: hfth.nra.org/find-your-state-hfh-contact/
