Whitetails Unlimited Awards $4 Million in Grants

Posted on: Jul 22, 2026

With the completion of their 2025-2026 fiscal year, Whitetails Unlimited has awarded 2,312 grants totaling $4,059,605 toward mission-related projects. Through our grant program, and with the assistance of our dedicated volunteers, members, and corporate sponsors, WTU has grown and cultivated its four pillar programs: Staying on Target, Habitat Options and Planned Enhancement for Wildlife, Developing Environmental Education Resources, and Preserving the Hunting Tradition.

WTU's Preserving the Hunting Tradition program expended the most amount of grants, followed by the Staying on Target program. Both programs are dedicated to expanding hunting and shooting sports opportunities for youth and other participants, helping preserve and promote the American tradition of deer hunting. For the past 44 years, Whitetails Unlimited has remained committed to this mission and will continue supporting the future of hunting, conservation, and education for generations to come.

About Whitetails Unlimited: Since our beginning in 1982, Whitetails Unlimited has remained true to its mission and has made great strides in the field of conservation.
