SAAMI Welcomes TXAT, LLC, to Organization

NEWTOWN, Conn. – The Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute®, Inc., (SAAMI®), is pleased to announce that TXAT, LLC, has joined SAAMI as an Affiliate Member. TXAT is the exclusive US distributor and test facility for Aguila Ammunition and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
“SAAMI is pleased to welcome TXAT, LLC, as an Affiliate Member,” said Joe Bartozzi, SAAMI’s President & CEO. “In joining SAAMI, they become part of the premier US organization for the establishment and publication of standards for the safety, reliability and interchangeability of sporting arms and ammunition.”
As a new Affiliate Member, TXAT, LLC, will have full access to SAAMI firearms and ammunition technical standards, as well as SAAMI’s reference ammunition program assessments. This status also lets TXAT, LLC’s customer know they support the work SAAMI does for the entirety of the industry and the safety of participants of the shooting sports.
