Power-Packed Wednesday Morning at the POMA Summit

Posted on: May 04, 2026

Wednesday morning at the POMA Summit is one of the most content-rich stretches of the entire event—combining education, access and real-world application in a tightly packed, high-impact schedule.

The day begins at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast and sponsor talks at Wild Wings of Oneka, where attendees hear directly from industry leaders including Murray Road Agency, the National Wild Turkey Federation and the American Sportfishing Association while networking over coffee and breakfast.

At 7:45 a.m., buses depart for Federal Ammunition, setting the stage for a fully immersive off-site experience. Upon arrival, the morning officially kicks off with a welcome from Federal’s JJ Reich, who will share company history and an overview of how ammunition is made.

The educational programming begins at 9:10 a.m. with “Session 1: Affiliate Marketing Panels.” This split-track session delivers targeted insights for both audiences. Media members attend “Affiliate Marketing for Content Creators,” moderated by Bill Brod (Outdoor Specialty Media Group) with panelists Vanessa Isaacson (AvantLink) and Sean Curtis (Pew Pew Tactical), covering audience growth, platform strategy and monetization. Corporate Partners attend “Affiliate Marketing for Brands,” moderated by Jeremy Britto (AvantLink) with Ryan Repp (Reputation Marketing) and Tim Brandt (Murray Road Agency), focusing on building smarter affiliate programs and leveraging data for conversions.

At 10:15 a.m., “Session 2: onX Hunt” features Jack Flatley, onX Hunt Public Relations Manager, guiding attendees through how to effectively use the platform in the field.

This is followed by “Session 3: Taking Photos in the Field – Techniques, Equipment and Ethics” at 10:50 a.m., led by Seth Owens (Photographer; Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever), offering practical guidance on capturing compelling, ethical outdoor imagery.

Late morning transitions into hands-on experiences. From 11:25 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., attendees rotate between a Federal Ammunition factory tour—a rare behind-the-scenes look at production—and a sponsored lunch by Benelli USA, ensuring both networking and experiential learning.

At 12:00 p.m., Corporate Partners attend “Session 4: Leveraging Media to Build Your Brand: Beyond Just Posting Content,” presented by Jake Dahlke (Murray Road Agency), which dives into building a strategic content ecosystem and maximizing media partnerships. Media members rotate between lunch and the factory tour.

The morning concludes with concurrent sessions from 12:35 to 1:15 p.m. Attendees can choose “Session 5: onX Fish,” led by Blake Tollefson (onX Community Marketing Manager), or “Remington Gun Care & Accessories,” presented by JJ Reich, highlighting essential maintenance products and field gear.

At 1:15 p.m., buses load for the return trip, wrapping up a morning that delivers not just education, but tangible skills, insider access and meaningful connections—all before the afternoon programming even begins.
