Gun Safe Manufacturer Steelhead Outdoors Increases Production Space and Capacity

Shakopee, MN (October 6, 2026) While many companies are scaling back operations, Steelhead Outdoors continues to grow and innovate. Steelhead Outdoors has moved to a 9,500 sq. ft. space in Shakopee, MN – a southwestern suburb of Minneapolis – St. Paul. This more than doubles the company’s working space which will allow for increasing research and development efforts and expanding production capacity. Steelhead’s address is now 5268 Valley Industrial Blvd. South, Shakopee, MN 55379.
Since 2017 when Steelhead Outdoors launched its first modular gun safe, the company has consistently added new items to its line. Customers can now also choose a pistol lock box, an underbed safe, an ammo cabinet, custom safe, vault door or customize their safe with more storage accessories. Steelhead also works with law enforcement and security companies to provide customizable locker systems.
Most Steelhead Outdoor products are purchased online. Customers may schedule a confidential appointment to see the innovative options at the new facility’s showroom.
Customers can order a Made in America safe completely and securely online or call to discuss options including custom colors, custom sizes and interior storage configurations. Steelhead Outdoors is conveniently located in an active industrial park and near local partners. The neighboring FedEx hub and Amazon distribution center have increased the shipping options in the area.
