I love fishing for northerns. How can you not love them? They’re physcos. It’s hard to name another fish that is more aggressive. I could tell tales about them for hours. I’ll try to keep it to two, maybe three tales.
If you’re fishing for two days or more, then you’re going to have at least one follow your lure to the boat and, unbeknownst to you, hide right under you. On your next cast, when you reel up to the boat, he’s going to shoot out when your lure is about 16 inches from your rod tip and slam it. It’ll scare you so bad that you’ll about flip off the other side.
