American Outdoor News Lifetime Achievement Award to be Presented at the DSC Convention
Dallas, Texas (January 8, 2024)
On Thursday, January 11th at the Dallas Safari Club Convention, American Outdoor News (AON) will present their first annual lifetime achievement award. The AON Lifetime Achievement Award is in recognition of one’s participation, commitment and contributions to the preservation of our outdoor heritage and traditions.
This year’s recipient of the American Outdoor News Lifetime Achievement Award is Mr. Larry Weishuhn. Larry has spent a lifetime as a champion for the outdoors. As a wildlife biologist, he has established wildlife management programs on over 15 million acres. He has influenced generations of outdoorsmen/women through his television shows, books, articles, blogs, and podcasts throughout his life. We are proud to present Larry with this award.
The presentation will take place 2:30 pm at the Dallas Safari Club Foundation (DSCF) Askari Room which is located just inside the main entrance of the convention right across from the DSC Store.
