We're expanding and looking for a Product Specialist with hands-on optics knowledge and strong customer support skills to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically knowledgeable Product Manager with deep familiarity with digital night vision, thermal imaging, and outdoor hunting optics. In this role, you will investigate how users interact with our products and competing devices, analyze technical performance differences, and translate insights into clear product messaging, documentation, and strategic recommendations.

You will conduct hands-on testing, user research, and competitive benchmarking to understand real-world performance scenarios. You will also support product positioning by crafting precise, compelling product narratives and feature explanations that resonate with hunters, outdoor professionals, and tactical users.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, understands the nuances of optics and imaging systems, and is passionate about bridging the gap between engineering, marketing, and real user needs.

Key Responsibilities

Product Research & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth competitive product analysis, including technical benchmarking, hands-on evaluations, and performance comparisons.
  • Break down complex product features (sensors, imaging algorithms, display technologies, ballistic functions, etc.) into clear, user-relevant insights.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and user expectations in the thermal and digital night vision market.

User Research & Field Testing

  • Engage with hunters, field testers, professionals, and industry communities to gather practical feedback and usage scenarios.
  • Conduct structured user interviews, surveys, and field tests to identify product gaps and opportunities.
  • Translate real-world use cases into actionable product recommendations and feature requirements.

Product Messaging & Documentation

  • Develop clear and accurate product copy—including feature descriptions, benefit messaging, comparison charts, FAQs, and instructional content—for websites, manuals, and marketing materials.
  • Craft compelling value propositions and storytelling that differentiate PARD products in the U.S. market.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure product visuals align with technical accuracy and brand positioning.

Cross-team Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to interpret product functions and ensure accurate representation.
  • Provide continuous feedback to product teams based on market trends, user insights, and competitor movements.
  • Support sales and customer support teams with technical explanations and product training materials.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with thermal imaging, digital night vision, optical devices, or related imaging technologies.
  • Experience in product research, competitive analysis, or technical product marketing.
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially in creating product documentation and customer-facing content.
  • Ability to translate complex technical features into clear, user-friendly explanations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design user studies, analyze data, and form insights.
  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to test products in real outdoor environments.
  • Must be based in the United States with a strong understanding of the U.S. hunting/outdoor optics market.

Preferred

  • Long-term personal or professional experience with hunting, shooting sports, or outdoor equipment.
  • Experience with thermal sensors, IR illuminators, image processing, or optical engineering fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with user experience research methods (interviews, surveys, usability tests).
  • Ability to evaluate firmware updates, image quality performance, and hardware differences.
  • Prior experience in companies manufacturing scopes, optics, tactical gear, or consumer electronics is a strong plus.

What We Offer

  • A growing global brand in the professional optics industry.
  • Innovative product lines with strong R&D support.
  • Competitive compensation package.
