The Marketing Manager at the SIG SAUER Academy & Experience Center plays a pivotal role in the development, execution, and monitoring of comprehensive marketing programs for both the Experience Center and SIG SAUER Academy (SSA). This position involves close collaboration with internal teams at SIG HQ, including marketing, PR, events, product, and sales teams, to ensure that marketing efforts effectively support the Academy and align with corporate strategic marketing initiatives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of the SSA/SEC brand across all facilities and platforms.
- Collaborates with SIG HQ internal teams (e.g. marketing, PR, events, product teams, comm sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring that messaging and marketing activities are aligned with brand and company values.
- Researching and analyzing consumer behavior, market trends and competitor activity
Building brand awareness and increasing brand value and profitability.
- Measuring and reporting on campaign performance and assessing KPIs and ROI.
- Overseeing the production of advertisements, promotional materials, and digital campaigns for all of SIG SAUER Academy including SIG SAUER Experience Center.
- Generates social media content for SIG SAUER Academy and Experience Center.
- Evaluates course fill rates with Operations Manager and identifies new strategies to engage existing customers and build customer relationships.
- Generates creative content to product and distribute monthly SSA Newsletter.
- Collaborates with Flagship Store Manager and Range Master to promote SIG SAUER Flagship Store and Shooting Center through social media, print materials, email, PR and revenue generating events.
- Assists in developing, managing, and executing revenue generating events such as book signings, open house, SIG Saturday etc. in conjunction with Flagship Store and Shooting Center.
- Manages SIG SAUER Academy website and customer communications, data analytics, SEO, and UX.
- Provide weekly student survey reports from all courses and distribute to SSA Management team.
- Identifies new strategic partnerships that can broaden SSA reach.
- Assist in managing deliverables of all SIG Event Sponsorships and Matches including product fulfillment, promotional event materials, and tracking sponsorship budget.
- Manages charitable donations of product and fulfill certificate requests.
- Assist in tracking and developing budgets.
- Some travel required.
Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong knowledge of Monday.com, Google analytics and SEO.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365) and familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
- Strong understanding of SEO and SEM principles to drive online visibility.
- Ability to evaluate multiple ongoing tasks and non-routine situations, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects within deadline parameters.
- Has an understanding of public relations and demonstrates advanced communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
- Capable of presenting a positive, professional image of the company to a wide variety of contacts.
- Demonstrates comfortable ability interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis.
- Able to work both in a team environment and independently, taking direction from multiple staff members and supervisors.
