Hodgdon Powder Company, Inc.
The Marketing Manager/Director uses their deep understanding of the reloading process and industry to market both Hodgdon and RCBS product lines to trade customers and consumers. This includes managing pricing, promotion, distribution strategies, and the new product development process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior management and organizational stakeholders to develop and execute annual Marketing Plan for the RCBS brand
- Oversees all marketing channels, including print, video and a potential RCBS manual from planning to publication
- Directs digital marketing strategy including company websites, social media, ambassadors, eblast, and D2C promotions
- Develops and nurtures relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key stakeholders to enhance Hodgdon’s public relations efforts
- Participates in industry events and tradeshows
- Partners with sales team to optimize placement of RCBS products at point of sale and maximize sell through via packaging, pricing and promotion
- Oversee the product development and management process, as well as directs the launch of new products by executing the product launch process
- Manages all marketing assets including pictures, videos, logos, sales collateral, etc.
- Manages third party consultants, freelancers, and marketing vendors ensuring insuring satisfactory return on investment
- Supervises marketing employee(s), delegating tasks and developing internal talent
- Other duties as assigned
Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive marketing experience in a B2B setting, brand/product management or corporate communications experience required
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience a plus
- Outdoor/Shooting Sports industry experience preferred
