Graphic Designer

DESCRIPTION

This role provides graphic support to the entire Weatherby organization with a goal of inspiring the dreams of hunters everywhere. It is important that the person filling this role develops relationships in and outside the company to deliver top-quality marketing materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains brand identity in all artwork produced
• Produces artwork for packaging and all components including manuals, warranty cards, literature, and advertisements
• Capable of producing print-ready catalogs
• Produces artwork for advertisements, signs, trade shows, and other marketing production
• Photography direction and in-house photography / editing
• Supports Digital Marketing for design, image, email and manual needs
• Maintains and organizes digital and physical files for produced artwork and photo database
• Correspondence with customers/vendors/partners for image needs
• Corresponds with print vendors
• Supports sales team - Power Point, presentation graphics, etc.
• Trade show booth graphic development
• Special projects and other duties as required

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support development and maintenance of Weatherby branding and style guide
• Support development Product Road Maps
• Support Digital Marketing efforts with content and designs
• Develop new ad campaign focused on Weatherby branding
• Maintain technical data sheet bank for all Weatherby products
• Participate in weekly marketing planning sessions
• Support all graphic and art requests

Experience, Competencies and Education

• BA degree or equivalent preferred or combination of education and experience providing technical knowledge in graphic design.
• Two (2) or more years of practical / relevant experience in a business environment.
• Expert computer skills including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications. Ability and desire to stay up-to-date with software releases.
• Excellent organizational skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES and MEASURES

Meet objective goals assigned by Marketing Manager during quarterly performance coaching.
