The Role
Michael Johnson Entertainment is looking for a motivated, self-driven Freelance Sales Representative/Account Manager to help us expand our client base through outbound outreach in the US. This is a fully remote, commission-based role ideal for someone with a background in B2B sales, media production, or creative industries. Your primary focus will be identifying potential clients, initiating conversations, booking qualified meetings for our core team, and ultimately closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and reach out to potential leads via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospects in industries aligned with our services (hunting, fishing, firearms, outdoor, etc.)
Present our services effectively and communicate our unique value proposition
Book qualified sales meetings with decision-makers
Maintain accurate records of outreach and performance metrics

Requirements

Proven experience in outbound B2B sales, ideally in media, video production, advertising, or creative services
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working independently and setting your own pace
Fluent in English
Personal lifestyle experience in one or more industries aligned with our services. If you do not consider hunting, fishing, or firearms a part of your lifestyle, this position likely is not a good fit for you.

Compensation & Trial Period

Commission-based with percentage per closed deal
3-month trial phase followed by increase in base commission and additional bonus opportunities after successful performance
Growth opportunities including head of sales and profit sharing

Payment Structure
1. Trial Phase – First 3 Months

Commission per closed deal: 10%
Bonus Incentives:
- $500 bonus for hitting monthly target of 3+ deals or $25k+ in revenue
- Additional $1,000 bonus for hitting 5+ deals or $50k+ revenue
Monthly Earnings Example with 5 monthly sales averaging $10k each
- 10% commission - $5,000
- Plus $500 bonus for hitting 3+ deals or $25k+ in revenue
- Plus additional $1,000 bonus for hitting 5+ deals or $50k+ in revenue
- Total monthly payout: $6,500

2. Permanent Contract Position:

Base commission increases to 15%
Bonus Incentives:
- $500 bonus for hitting monthly target of 3 deals or $25k+ in revenue
- Additional $1,000 bonus for hitting 5+ deals or $50,000+ revenue
- Plus $10,000 annual bonus for hitting 12 consecutive monthly sales targets or $750k in total revenue
Annual Earnings Example with average monthly sales of $50k
- 15% Commission - $90,000
- Plus monthly bonuses - $18,000
- Plus annual bonus - $10,000
- Total annual earnings of $118,000

3. Long-Term Options:

Performance-based path to Head of Sales
Profit-sharing or percentage of client lifetime value for recurring clients (e.g., ongoing retainer clients)
