LOWA is a 101-year-old authentic outdoor & duty boot brand with US headquarters in Stamford, CT and a marketing office in Salt Lake City, UT. We have an opportunity for a newly created position as an Event & Special Project Coordinator, based in Stamford. This is a hybrid position when not at events.
The Coordinator will work with sales, marketing, customer support & our warehouse teams to organize the services, samples, display & collateral materials for industry trade shows, outdoor climbing, trail running, hiking & tactical events, demos and meetings. Our goal is to be best in class for presenting our brand and products to our various retailer & consumer bases.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized to work with colleagues and event organizers to arrange services, displays, shipping, demos and anything else that will result in a great experience & brand presentation. Included but not limited to, is:
· Planning in advance for all materials to be complete and on time.
· Ability to evaluate the effectiveness and needs for the future for each event.
The ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 years of event planning experience and an affinity for the outdoors. Written & verbal communication, the ability to travel domestically 35 – 40 days per year, ability to meet deadlines, solve problems, manage event budgets and track expenses are all required. Must furnish materials to marketing for social media, newsletters, blog posts and event wrap up notes for future reference.
The pay range is $50,000 – 65,000 and the company has a range of benefits including health, dental & eye insurance, a matching 401K plan and of course, outdoor boots or shoes as needed.
