Job Summary: Lead and coordinate the company’s online sales and presence. The E-Commerce Manager is expected to have an entrepreneurial spirit and will oversee the online stores’ design, functionality, and user experience. This role will work closely with marketing, IT, product, and customer/consumer service teams to ensure seamless online store operations. This position will track sales performance, implement promotional strategies, and analyze customer behavior to enhance the overall shopping experience. The ultimate goal is to increase profitable sales (without interfering with the global commercial sales channel), improve the customer journey, and align the e-commerce strategy with the company’s overall business objectives.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Manage product listings, descriptions, and pricing in the online store.
  • Regularly update product information, images, and descriptions to ensure accuracy, appeal, and consistency.
  • Plan and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns to increase sales and boost customer engagement.
  • Analyze customer behavior and trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor website functionality and handle troubleshooting issues with the e-commerce platform, including technical problems and user experience challenges.
  • Coordinate with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure seamless customer services, high customer satisfaction, and resolve issues quickly through the online store.
  • Analyze data from Google Analytics, CRM systems, and other tools to monitor site traffic and customer behavior.
  • Track and report e-commerce performance, including sales, conversion rates, and ROI on digital marketing campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and platforms such as Klayvio, Yotpo, BigCommerce
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing.

Skills & Knowledge Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an e-commerce manager or in a similar e-commerce or digital marketing role.
  • Proven ability to create A+ digital content (highly effective page designs).
  • Strong understanding of online sales platforms (e.g., BigCommerce) and digital marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
  • Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and e-commerce tracking tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with CRM software and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they impact online sales.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry.
  • Solid communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce trends such as personalization, chatbots, or AI-driven shopping experiences.
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain management.
