he Creative Team is responsible for ideation and creation of all storytelling and impact campaigns and communication assets to support mission, business, and channel needs. Designing for both digital and physical production. The Creative Operations Lead reports to the Creative Director for Patagonia Provisions; they are the central point that drives and delivers operational excellence, strategy, process, and production for all final marketing assets at Patagonia Provisions. This role partners with all cross-functional, internal departments to help build the foundation, tools, and best practices to enable success for scaling, optimizing, and orchestrating across systems.
For assigned projects and workstreams, the Creative Operations Lead will be the main point of contact for the Creative Team, bringing a strong point of view on the best production approach to support creative execution. They will lead operations communication, guide alignment and partnership between all internal teams and company partners.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with internal teams and external contractors, to plan, facilitate, and deliver final marketing assets across all channels and touch points, both digital and physical assets.
- Project-manage and counsel Creative Team (photo editor, graphic designers, contract writers, and contract photographer) on project timelines within ClickUp (inclusive of other functional timelines/work allocation), adjusting to shifting priorities, in conjunction with Creative Director
- Act as primary liaison between Creative team and internal team clients – Brand, Ecomm, Product, Sales, and PR -- setting clear expectations for work flowing into and out of the Creative Department.
- Facilitate presentation meetings and internal Creative Team meetings, managing expectations and time and resolving any project issues. Collect and organize feedback and manage change requests for routed materials.
- Partner with assigned Brand Marketers and Creative Director in keeping consistency of messaging across vehicles.
- Provide process and standardized tools to drive consistency and improve effectiveness. As well as help educate all stakeholders of the go-to-market tools available to them (Brand Book, Photo Selects Library, BrandPortal, etc.)
- Responsible for creation and management of workflow and production of multiple projects simultaneously, delivering final marketing assets on time
- Act as final proofreader on asset delivery
- Continue to update processes in a time of rapid change. Partner with all functions to update processes as needed.
- Build Creative Team goals & tracking against it with Creative Director
- Oversees the Creative Team's budget allocated per projects / needs submitted by any department or Product Family Team (POD)
- Build and maintain contractor roster with the Creative Director, and process all onboarding documents for new contractors
- License photography and process invoices
- Clarify and ensure briefs from Clients contain all required information
- Lead internal presentation (OKRs, etc.)

Experience You Bring
- 3-8+ years project management experience or creative production experience, managing teams of producers and cross functional teams as project lead, experience building process from scratch, experience innovating existing process or related experience in another field.
- Ability to be flexible within the job to ensure the best processes/systems for smooth completion of all projects.
- Capable of streamlining, improving and trouble-shooting process.
- Demonstrated ability to perform and deliver results under pressure; keeping projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of photography, film, and animation production workflows.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills surrounding the creative process, including concepting, creative techniques, negotiation, feedback, and production processes.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite program.s
- Proficiency with project management software such as ClickUp, Asana, Jira, or Monday.
- Proficiency with creative collaboration software such as Figma.
- Experience working inhouse for a growth-phase start-up or CPG Food brand is preferred.
Hiring Range: $90,000 to $110,000
Pay Range: $81,686 to $122,529
