Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Production Manager with a deep understanding of the hunting industry to oversee the editing and production of our video content. This position will play a pivotal role in the editing of our video content, shaping our video content strategy, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hunting and outdoor activities, and a proven track record of managing video production projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to develop engaging video content that resonates with our audience and reinforces our brand values. Responsibilities: Lead the planning, coordination, and editing of video production projects, from concept development to final delivery. Manage future team of video editors and production assistants, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of projects. Ability to film content, including proficiency in operating video cameras and related equipment, is required. Work closely with producers, external content creators, and other stakeholders to develop creative concepts and storylines for hunting-related video content. Oversee the editing process, ensuring that videos are edited to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment. Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with brand objectives and promotional campaigns. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production and editing techniques. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet production goals and objectives. Maintain an organized archive of footage and assets for future use and reference. Provide creative input and contribute ideas to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of our video content. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in video production and editing, with a focus on the hunting or outdoor industries. Proven track record of managing video production projects from concept to completion, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in storytelling and visual storytelling. Deep understanding of the hunting industry, including knowledge of hunting techniques, equipment, regulations, and ethical practices. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence. Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds. Creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities. A genuine passion for hunting and outdoor activities. Must live within driving distance of our headquarters in Decorah, IA. Must have access to high speed Internet.
