Meagan McElya

Meagan’s media journey began in 2009, initially crafting written and photographic
content for her high school sports teams. Pursuing her passion further, she studied
Agriculture Communication and Journalism at Texas A&M University, where she
distinguished herself as the Editor in Chief of AgriLeader Magazine. During this time,
she also honed her photography skills, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors.
Now with over 15 years of experience, Meagan has evolved her storytelling, particularly
in the realm of outdoor media. Transitioning from her beginnings in high school sports,
she has become a published writer and acclaimed wildlife and hunting photographer.
She also currently specializes in event promotions and social media strategy, leveraging
her multifaceted skill set to drive impactful campaigns for her marketing clients.
In 2018, Meagan co-founded Bar MC Media, LLC alongside her now husband, Brandon
McDow, marking a pivotal moment in her career. Through this venture, she has
expanded her repertoire to include videography, offering clients compelling narratives
through a dynamic visual medium.
