Kenia Link is a Wisconsin native whose passion for hunting, fishing, and conservation has shaped both her life and career. Growing up in the outdoors, she developed an early appreciation for America's wildlife, public lands, and sporting traditions—an appreciation that ultimately led her to a career dedicated to protecting them.
She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before joining the International Order of T. Roosevelt (IOTR), where she serves as National Engagement Director. In her role, Kenia leads the organization's digital strategy, content creation, grassroots engagement, donor relations, and public outreach, connecting hunters, anglers, conservationists, and supporters across the country. She also hosts the Hunt. Fish. Freedom. podcast, interviewing leaders from across the outdoor industry on conservation, advocacy, and the future of America's sporting heritage.
In addition to her work in conservation advocacy, Kenia has built a strong foundation in the outfitting industry through her work with Link's Wild Safaris. Collaborating with outfitters and hunting destinations around the world has given her a unique perspective on the role ethical hunting, conservation, and storytelling play in sustaining wildlife and supporting rural communities.
A passionate storyteller, Kenia believes compelling communication is one of the most powerful tools for advancing conservation. Through social media, podcasting, public speaking, and digital campaigns, she works to engage new audiences, elevate conservation issues, and inspire the next generation of outdoor advocates.
As a Corporate Partner Director on the Professional Outdoor Media Association Board of Directors, Kenia is committed to supporting ethical outdoor communications, strengthening the outdoor media community, and ensuring conservation stories reach diverse audiences.
When she's not working, Kenia can usually be found chasing adventures in the outdoors—whether hunting in the mountains, fishing on the water, training for her next backcountry hunt, or exploring wild places with family and friends. She believes some of life's best stories begin outside and is passionate about inspiring others to experience the outdoors and become lifelong advocates for conservation.
