Keeping your name, brand, services or products front and center, among buyers and industry profesionals, is a critical cog in the marketing and public relations wheel. Whether you're a communicator or a CP, maintain a front-and-center position by posting news or press releases on the POMA Web site.

Getting this information out to POMA members, and the general pubilc is simple.

  • Log into the POMA Web site
  • Click on Post News or Press Releases under Member Quick Links
  • Fill out the form
  • Enter title
  • Select type of news
  • Enter text or even cut and paste; and upload an image
  • If you want the news/release to be viewable by the general public, open publishing options selections at bottom of page and uncheck the access restricted check box. The default setting for news and releases is "for POMA members only"
  • Click "save" and you're done

 

A Few Tips

  • Post on a regular basis and/or as important news happens, but don't over do it
  • Don't overwhelm folks with post after post, just for the sake of geting your name out. Users and readers become numb and bypass your content
  • If you have full releases on your Web site, save time by simply posting a summary paragraph or reminder with a link to the news story/release
  • Add images and increase the time spent on your news/press release pages
