Role addresses, generic emails like admin@, sales@, info@, and others are rejected
by many of the biggest email delivery services used by companies/organizations, including POMA, to send media, member, and customer information. Here are some tips on how to fix the problem, without changing your current email.
The problem you face if you use a role address email is email service providers, like Constant Contact, AWeber, Mail Chimp and others, block these addresses and will not sent email to them. They eliminate these addresses because spammers, those who send unwanted email, collect domain names and then just add role names before the domain to get their bulk, spam mail in the hands of real people.
To keep spammers from using their services the companies also might flag business accounts who use their service as spammers and shut them down if the company uploads a list with too many role addresses. So companies like POMA remove role addresses before uploading them to their mail service provider. If you have a role account, you are eliminated.
To work around the situation, you don't have to change your current email, so you don't lose contact with folks who use your current email address.
Get a free POMA, G-mail or other mail provider email address. In the settings for the new email account, forward email sent to the new address to your current email account. This means your important contacts, like POMA, Howard Communications, The Media Group, and others, who use Constant Contact, AWeber, or other email service providers to deliver news, important information, or membership communications, can get through to you.
Constant Contact blocks the following role addresses. POMA information does not go through to these email.
