Today's cameras come with no shortage of bells and whistles and functions to love. Sure, these features help you create great images - but do they help you reach your full potential as a photographer? They definitely have their advantages, but to help yourself grow as a photographer learning to shoot in manual mode is the best way to build your skill and confidence. It can take some time to get used to, but you'll be happy you did.
