Focus on the Finish Line

When I hear the word "paradise", the image at right is basically what materializes in my mind. Land, views, and a home are right at the top of my list of desired achievements. But, in the everyday struggles of life, it can be easy to lose track of any goal. Life these days is chaos, madness. This can be attributed partly to the list of desires each of us holds onto-the dreams that drive us forward, often with reckless abandon.
Still, I believe there is something to be said for the beauty of creating goals and following through on those plans. I found the below article in the
Field Ethos Journal this morning. Its written by
Ron Spomer, who many of you are plenty familiar with. Its a good reminder of what's important in this life, and why its never too late to realize those long-term goals you have.
SO…WE MIGHT BE NUTS
Well, my wife and I already know we’re nuts, so this latest move just confirms it. At the age when most Baby Boomers are cashing Social Security checks, wintering in Arizona, and trying to remember what it was they ingested in 1970, Betsy and I are downsizing—to a ranch.
