That is why I’ve decided to create this article specifically for people who want to do SEO for Youtube. Read along as I share three video SEO hacks that you can do yourself to get your videos performing better. These three hacks are very easy to do, even if you have no SEO experience whatsoever. It will go a long way to help your videos rank better in the search engines.
SEO TIPS FOR YOUTUBE
The first tip that I’m going to share with you is something that 99% of our clientele overlooks. It sounds so simple but is almost always overlooked:
Name your video files properly. Instead of uploading a video titled “img9463.mov”, how about we start labeling it properly so that YouTube actually knows what this video file is? If the title of your video is “How to Fly a Kite”, then that is exactly what you should be labeling your video to be as well. You simply type it as you write it, “howtoflyakite.mov”. Once you’ve labeled it properly, then you can upload it to YouTube. YouTube will have a better idea of what this video file is about and in turn, will deem your video more relevant for that keyword.
