Windows 10 users should start preparing to update to Windows 11 soon. Although some upgrades may have been voluntary in the past, Windows 11 will automatically update for anyone whose hardware meets the requirements. According to multiple sources, the update should consist mainly of behind-the-scene changes. However, there will be some updates made to the user interface that you should look into and change if it affects the way you currently use Windows.

Windows 11 is now available as an update for users who can meet the prerequisites. To make the best of this pending transition you should have a plan of action ready to go.

Windows 11, if you have computer hardware and software meeting specific prerequisite requirements. While you may be able to take steps to block the transition, technically speaking this update is not optional—it will happen as part of a normal, scheduled update.
Since the update to Windows 11 is for all intents and purposes inevitable, it is important to be ready for the transition when it occurs. While most of the Windows 11 update will involve behind-the-scenes security changes, there are at least 11 user interface, configuration and application changes that warrant an immediate user reaction and quality of life adjustment.
