What's New for Realtree

Posted on: Jul 15, 2022

The Realtree Fishing crew is making final preparations for a busy month of July. For the second year in a row, Realtree Fishing will be on site with a full display and booth in Dauphin Island, Alabama, for the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo July 15-17. The Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo draws over 3,000 participants and 75,000 spectators. This year, Realtree Fishing plans to promote and display Realtree ASPECT, their newest and increasingly popular fishing pattern, in addition to a new lineup of long- and short-sleeve performance shirts. “This year’s Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo marks one year since bringing the Realtree ASPECT pattern to market. Our team has enjoyed the opportunity to connect with competitive anglers and consumers at this event,” said Scott Hughes, brand manager for Realtree Fishing. “Our intention at shows like this is to connect directly with our loyal fanbase and meet consumers from all walks of life. It is rewarding to see our customers on the docks, boats, marinas, and even within the aisles at events like the Deep Sea Rodeo flying our colors and wearing the new ASPECT pattern. We also gather valuable feedback from our consumers to share with our own team, retailers, and licensees.” Following the Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, the Realtree Fishing team will set their sights on Orlando, Florida, for the iCast trade show, July 19-22. Representatives from Realtree’s marketing, licensing, retail, and executive teams will be on site for meetings with active and prospective customers, media outlets, and industry colleagues. ASPECT will be on display front and center in the Realtree Fishing booth (#5102) and across several licensees’ booths on a variety of hard and soft goods. Beyond meetings, the Realtree Fishing team will be hosting a VIP event at Top Golf, holding daily giveaways, and attending various industry seminars. A concerted effort on expanding Realtree’s reach within the fishing market has included investment, focus, and commitment to products, patterns, pro staff partnerships, and attendance at both industry and consumer events. “I started fishing at a young age, and it has always been part of my life, my family’s life, and now it’s an integral part of our organization’s current and future business,” said Realtree founder and CEO Bill Jordan. “What has made our business so special is the fact that we quite literally love what we do and the friendships we have made along the way. Fishing offers our brand such a unique opportunity to connect with a lifestyle category and, simply put, a way of life. Our team enjoys the privilege to serve the hunting and fishing markets. Each day at Realtree, in return for this opportunity to do what we do, our team asks of each other an unwavering commitment to delivering for our consumers, licensees, and retailers through innovative products, patterns, and marketing content.”
