We run a weekly Youtube channel that started by following the building of Arabella, our boat and floating base camp. We have sailed from Maine to the Dry Tortugas to Newfoundland, where we currently are.
The channel follows our outdoor adventures, we need someone to join us on these adventures to help with filming and some content creation. We have a fulltime editor on the team, so editing skills are not required and you will be working with us and our editor to make sure we get the footage we need.
Backcountry skills are a MUST. We will be doing multi day back country ski trips this winter as well as ice climbing in Gros Morne National Park in the frozen fjords. You will need to be prepared to spend up to 10 days at a time in the winter backcountry, work at heights on both ice and rock, mountain biking and sailing experience are bonuses.
In the spring/early summer we will sail to the south coast of Newfoundland to climb in Devils Bay, home of Lucifers Lighthouse and Leviathon.
After that, we are unsure, wherever the wind takes us.
We are looking for someone to join us in Newfoundland and if things work, possibly beyond. There are talks of crossing to Europe or exploring the climbing in Jamacia and the Caymans. All the options are options.
Filming experience is not as important as your backcountry skills. Our filming is pretty low key, we can teach you that, we can't teach you to climb or ski.
Someone looking to gain experience filming in remote and world class locations would be a perfect fit. We would be an ideal stepping stone to work towrds a ReelRock crew or the likes.
Join a small but passionate crew living a life of adventure on the open sea and in the wild. Our YouTube channel began by documenting the hand-built creation of Arabella; a wooden sailboat that has since become our floating base camp for expeditions across North America and beyond.
From sailing the rugged coasts of Maine to exploring the remote fjords of Newfoundland, we capture the beauty and challenge of real adventure: climbing frozen waterfalls, ski touring deep in backcountry terrain, and discovering hidden corners of the world few ever reach.
We’re not a production company sitting behind desks; we’re a team that lives the journey we film. Our goal is to tell authentic stories that inspire others to get outside, push limits, and embrace the unknown.
If you dream of combining your outdoor skills with filmmaking, living at sea, and being part of a team that thrives on exploration, this is your chance to join a one-of-a-kind adventure.
