Professional Biography

My professional career started with 11 years working for the Boy Scouts of America. During that time I served for seven years as the lead instructor for the Shooting Sports Section of the Western Region National Camping Schools. I remain a NRA Certified Instructor in both Rifle and Shotgun. After leaving the Boy Scouts I spent 16 years in pharmaceutical sales working the in the cardiology and mental health specialties. When my territory was dissolved in Dec 2016 I decided to pursue a dream...I wrote my first article in January 2017 and put together a basic blog website in February. My passions are big game hunting and shooting. I love backpack hunting in the wilderness for elk and hunting for elusive cutthroats in high alpine lakes. I also enjoy reloading, shooting big bore handguns and trying to perfect my skills with defensive firearms. I have been a life member of NRA for many years as well as Safari Club International. I have had the pleasure of serving as President of the Central Washington Chapter of Safari Club International for a two-year term and continue to be active in community outreach and education.
