This quote resonates with hunters so strongly because when fall comes around each year, we have the privilege of actively participating. We are all in that arena of conservation together for a brief couple months. But too often, that collaborative feeling ends with the fading light of closing day.
The following article, written by Tom Kuglin of RMEF, reminds us all that our responsibility to remain active in conservation doesn't end with our time in the field. On the contrary, opportunities to make a difference in conservation abound year-round!
I’ll admit I’m one of those hunters that gets nervous about change.
Maybe I’ve just reached a point in my hunting life where I’m getting set in my ways. It’s not that I don’t like to learn or check out the latest and greatest hunting gear, but it’s probably easier to get tickets to watch Iowa’s Caitlin Clark play basketball than for a new piece of gear to actually make it into my hunting pack.
