Time Acknowledges Hunting in Cover Story This Week

POMA members Jim Zumbo and Doug Jeanneret alerted POMA that mainstream media, specifically Time magazine, acknowledged what the hunting industry and wildlife managers already know. Hunting is an integral part of managing wildlife, allowing wildlife to thrive, and helping communities sprawling into wildlife habitat to lessen encounters between wild animals and humans. This week’s Time cover shows a doe standing in what could be someone’s back yard. The cover blurb says, “America’s Pest Problem: Why the rules of hunting are about to change.”
