Safari Magazine Wins Platinum Level MarCom Award

Sdelete.jpgafari Magazine has achieved the highest level in the 2019 MarCom Awards competition, which honors excellence in marketing and communication. There are three levels of awards: platinum (scores of 90-100), gold (80-89) and honorable mention (70-79).

This is the fourth platinum level award Safari Magazine has won. In 2014, the SCI Hunt NOW! e-newsletter also won platinum.

SCI’s Safari Magazine is the only outdoor publication to be named Platinum in this year’s competition. Coldwell Banker, Dell Technologies and Morgan Stanley also achieved this esteemed recognition.

MarCom is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), which consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, digital and web professionals. Each year, there are roughly 6,000 entries from around the world.

“Entries are judged by fellow professionals, which means that our peers in the publishing industry have deemed Safari Magazine as one of the best in the world,” said SCI Publications Director Steve Comus. “It is a pleasure to bring such an honor to SCI.”

“MarCom Awards is an international creative competition which recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals,” AMCP reported. “A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.”
