Are you making plans to visit Knoxville next March?  Are you wondering if we have good fishing? You bet your bass we have some great fishing.

From carp to wall-eye we have you covered. Bring your rigs, jigs heck you can even use your hands for some noodlin’. Fishing is popular in all of our lakes and streams. Of course there is also the calm, yet exciting fly fishing excursion if you bring your waders. Our local paper has your daily fishing report on their website. There’s always the question if you can eat what you caught. Well the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has thought of that here is the website for current advisories. Now we can’t tell how to hook the big one but there are bunches of professionals around. If they aren’t here they come in for the tourneys. The FLW Tours roll through here bringing some of the best anglers in the world to our lakes.

On a clear day you can see the purple outline of the Great Smoky Mountains. All they have to offer is just a car ride away.

The Outdoor Center is here is you need to get your feet wet. Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) classes and rentals are always available. If your idea of getting out on the water is a little faster paced you might want to head to one of the lakes and see the skiing, tubing and bass fishing they have to offer.

Looking to fish for some musky? You’ve hit the right place. We even have a Volunteer Musky Club. Melton Hill is the spot for these destination fishermen.
