NSSF Honors Nation’s Peace Officers in Washington, D.C.

NSSF Header with Registered TrademarkNEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industries, honored the memories and the families of the law enforcement officers from around the United States who died in the line of duty in 2017. NSSF made a $10,000 donation to the Fraternal Order of Police to support the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service.

The National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service, hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police, is held annually on May 15 in Washington, D.C. More than 20,000 people attend to honor those fallen in the line of duty. This year marked the 37th year of the Service.
