The NRA is pleased to announce the addition of one very special motorcycle to their auction at the National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction. The custom bike, built by Orange County Choppers was revealed at the 2015 SHOT Show. The live auction will take place April 9, 2015 in Nashville, TN.
Cruise the open road in style on a custom NRA-themed motorcycle built by Orange County Choppers and donated to The NRA Foundation by Century Arms. The one-of-a-kind bike, just unveiled during the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, will be the live auction showcase item during the National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction on April 9, 2015, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Designed through a combined effort by the NRA, Century Arms, and Orange County Choppers, the bike is a billboard on two wheels that any NRA supporter would be proud to own. Its low, slender profile gives the Pro Street bike a bullet-like appearance and the gunmetal and black paint job is sure to turn heads. Additionally, the bike is adorned with the NRA seal, Century Arms emblem, and features design elements from the AK-style rifles Century Arms is known for that will let everybody know where you stand when it comes to the Second Amendment.
“Century Arms proudly partnered with the NRA Foundation and OCC to raise funds for the future of shooting sports specifically for future generations so they can have the same freedoms that we enjoy today.” Michael Sucher, Chairman/President, Century Arms.
The National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction will be held during the 144thNRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Nashville. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on the bike in a live auction organized to raise money for local, state and national shooting sports programs.
“The NRA has had a lot of opportunities to work on fun projects that support the future of the shooting sports and creating this bike with Century Arms and Orange County Choppers is definitely one of them,” said NRA’s Director of Industry Partnerships John DaSilva. “Not only do projects like this bring attention to the shooting sports, but they follow our commitment to helping keep American manufacturing and jobs alive.”
Funds raised at the NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction will go to The NRA Foundation, America’s leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports. Since its inception in 1992, The NRA Foundation has funded more than 30,500 grants, totaling $215 million in support of the shooting sports, hunting and defense of the Second Amendment.
“For me to be able to come to work every day, do my job, and somewhat contribute to what the NRA is doing – it’s awesome,” said Orange County Choppers Senior Designer Jason Pohl.“I believe in everything they do and they make this country a better place.”
