My first memories of duck hunting were of being with my Father tucked away on a willow island along the Republican River in southern Nebraska. That same season I convinced my mother to buy my father a mallard duck decoy for a Christmas present. Even at the tender age of six, I knew there was something special about this hunting thing. Growing up in Central Nebraska, my best friend and I had great parents that would dump us off in the surrounding marshes and grain fields and we hunted everything from crows and pheasants, to coyotes. But it was all of the waterfowl that I saw that consumed me. Hardcore waterfowlers tend to gravitate to one another and over the past 30 years I have developed many long lasting hunting friendships. Great photography begins with great opportunities; my time spent with good friends nearly always results in quality photos, and quality memories.

  • Weston Lovelette

Since I was a young boy, I have been obsessed with the outdoors hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. My obsession exploded in 9th grade of high school after filming my friend harvest his first deer with his bow, I found a deep passion for filming and editing hunts. That had sprung me into working at a Mathews Pro shop where I became captivated by bow hunting and archery, along with filming hunts and editing them. Since those days, I have worked with many individuals and a few companies to create unreal fishing and hunting videos. I have done projects for the Pursuit Channel and the Outdoor Channel, as well as many freelance projects. My true passion is bowhunting, but I can’t stop myself from diving in and filming and editing for those fishing freaks. I have over 14 years of video production and editing experience, mostly in video editing. I took 4 years of video production and editing courses through out High School. Then continued on to an expertise institute in Oralando, FL called Genius Dv Institute, where I became certified in Final Cut Pro editing software. Recently, with the same company, just finished my training for Adobe Premier and the Adobe Creative Cloud. My goal for each video is to recreate the memory in an unforgettable way so the viewer will be taken back to those moments and really feel those emotions, just when he or she was at full draw or setting the hook.
