Let POMA Work for You
A POMA Biz Tip allowed me to recoup content that would have taken a monumental amount of time to recreate.
A few weeks ago POMA posted a Biz Tip on how to recover lost files. I printed that up and filed it here at my desk, knowing that chances were that I'd never need it. But I filed it anyway.
Today, I was answering questions for my "Ask Dr Dave About Whitetails" column for www.sportsmansguide.com, and somehow deleted that file from my disk. I had no backup (duh), and even worse, that file contained around 100 past questions that I've been saving to use for a new book I've just started.
Biz Tips to the rescue. In 20 minutes, I was good to go.
Thanks POMA and Biz Tip author PC World Contributing Editor Lincoln Spector!

ATTENTION PUBLIC RELATIONS AGENCies
Every company joining as a CP must fill out an application. When applying for different companies, a unique username and e-mail address is required for each company, even if the same person is the PR rep for each company. If necessary, consider setting up e-mail accounts through Gmail or Yahoo before applying.
Example: John Smith is the rep for four companies. He uses different usernames, such as JSCompanyName, using his initials with each company name. Then he sets up e-mail accounts the same way JSCompanyName@gmail.com. He then sets the e-mails for each (free) account to forward all e-mails to his primary e-mail address.
Applicants agree to abide by and support POMA's Mission statement, irrevocable charter & bylaws
An applicant’s signature signifies agreement to and support of the Mission Statement, Irrevocable Charter, Bylaws and other principles and goals of POMA.
